On the 11th of March 2025, Inter Marine, the Training Department attended a session in the Senate of the Republic of Poland.
We participated in a joint meeting of the Climate and Environment Committee and the Education Committee on vocational training in the RES (Renewable Energy Sources) sector.
Issues discussed :
- professional qualifications offered by the Polish education system,
- course and training offers,
- certificates necessary to work
- the possibility to recruit employees
Only this ‘confession’ of companies directly involved in vocational training for the RES sector showed how much we have to do and where we are.
Participants expressed the need for more frequent meetings in smaller specialised panels, where ideas for quick and effective solutions would be found.
The meeting was organised on the initiative of Polish Senator Mr Piotr Maslowski.
