Course Objective:
This course is designed to refresh your knowledge of all the following modules:
- Module 1: Working At Heights (WAH)
- Module 2: First Aid (FA)
- Module 3: Manual Handling (MH)
- Module 4: Fire Awareness (FAW)
- Module 5: Sea Survival (SS).
The BST Offshore program provides participants with the competencies, skills and confidence needed to respond effectively in emergency situations and enhances their safety by learning the proper use of personal protective equipment, emergency equipment and the application of safety procedures.
The course combines approximately 1 day of study of theoretical issues with a three-day practical workshop.
Who is this training for?
The training is intended for individuals:
- those seeking employment in the offshore renewable energy industry
- working in the wind industry or related sectors,
- performing job functions that have been evaluated by employers or safety officers,
- who need knowledge of the procedures and skills described in one or more modules of the BST standard,
- to whom appropriate training can help minimize the risks associated with their work.
Training refresher conditions:
The validity of the certificate is 24 months. Certificates and training records must be renewed before the expiration of the validity period. Certificate refreshment is done through the BST Offshore Refresher course.
If the validity of the certificate has expired, the participant must take the full BST Offshore training course to obtain new documentation.
Key message: the GWO allows the module to be refreshed two months before its expiration date, and the new one becomes active on the day the previous one expired.

- Swimsuit or swimming trunks (it is not possible to participate in the course in so-called Bermudas or sports shorts),
- Flip-flops,
