Scope of training and course completion

The training programme includes, among others, the following topics:

Maritime transport means and types of containers
Equipment used for securing and stowing cargo on board ships
Land transport means
Auxiliary cargo-handling equipment
Safety in cargo handling operations, accident hazards
Planning and organising team work, and motivating employees
Cargo handling technology – planning, organisation, and supervision of operations
Securing cargo on ships
Organisation of the foreman’s team

The training is concluded with a pass in:

Additional information

The classes are conducted by qualified lecturers/trainers with many years of experience.

After successfully passing the internal examination, the participant receives an unlimited-validity certificate of completion, issued on the basis of §18(2) of the Regulation of the Minister of National Education, authorising the holder to perform the duties of a cargo handling foreman.

Basic safety training in personal survival techniques

Course objective:

ITR means individual rescue techniques. The training covers such issues as: the organisation of lifesaving at sea, rescue equipment of ships including individual and shared rescue measures.
