To prepare participants for safe work on offshore wind farms. The course focuses on the specific hazards associated with working at sea, including safe movement between the vessel and the turbine, and survival in the water.
The offshore training covers all modules of the onshore version and an additional offshore module. The full package comprises 5 modules:
Participants gain the skills to survive in the open sea, transfer safely from a boat to a turbine (and vice versa) using a ladder installed on the TP – Transition Platform (Boat Transfer), and use a life raft and life jacket. They also acquire full competence in high-altitude rescue, firefighting and first aid.
The certificate is valid for 24 months (2 years). To maintain the validity of the certificate, a refresher course must be completed within the last 2 months prior to the expiry date of the current document.
Information about the completed training will be recorded in the international GWO WINDA database. The digital record allows authorised employers to instantly verify your qualifications. For the participant, this means easy confirmation of competence worldwide without the need for paper documents.

We manage the entire process, from agreeing a suitable date and arranging transport and accommodation to delivering the training and preparing complete documentation. We also provide end-to-end support for groups and teams travelling from abroad.
We train participants using specialist equipment, full-scale structures, training towers, simulators and a pool, so they can practise procedures rather than simply hear about them.
We work with Energy Innovation in Norway and leading maritime institutions in Poland: Gdynia Maritime University and the Polish Naval Academy. We combine international industry experience with expert knowledge and the resources of Polish maritime universities.
