First Aid with IM Training at the 11th International Kite Festival

In Łeba, the kites were up in the air, while we were teaching people how to save lives!

During the 11th International Kite Festival, at the invitation of Equinor and Polenergia – companies jointly developing the BAŁTYK offshore wind farm projects – the IM Training team ran open workshops on first aid and water safety.

A huge round of applause and thanks to our instructors – Michał Klonowski and Maciej Gajda!

Throughout the day, they guided participants through a range of practical exercises, explained procedures, demonstrated techniques and, most importantly, gave everyone the opportunity to try them out for themselves. They did a fantastic job, combining professional knowledge, practical skills and great commitment. Thank you for your energy, expertise and the way you engage people in learning how to save lives!

What was happening in our training zone?

• CPR practice on traditional manikins and in virtual reality (VR)
• Bleeding control and wound care
• Using an AED and providing first aid in choking emergencies
• Our pocket-sized AED also attracted a lot of attention – proving that life-saving equipment really can be small enough to keep close at hand!

What made us especially happy was seeing how many people – both adults and children – wanted to take part, practise the procedures and ask questions. When it comes to first aid, theory alone is not enough. Confidence comes from having the opportunity to practise and experience these situations first-hand.
