The application, along with the required attachments, must be submitted no later than 21 days before the selected exam date. After the 21-day deadline, applications will not be accepted.
Applications can be submitted:
- In person at the Secretariat of the CMKE (CENTRAL MARITIME EXAMINATION COMMISSION) in Gdynia, Monday to Friday, between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM, Room 131.
- By traditional mail (the postmark date will be considered as the submission date).
- Via email, by sending clear scans of the documents to this email address: CMKEGDYNIA@MI.GOV.PL
In all of the above cases, before submitting the application to CMKE, the sea service record must be certified at the Maritime Office.
The application must include:
- A maritime certificate or diploma;
- A certificate or diploma confirming education;
- A sea service record with the required practice;
- Certificates from MJE (if required);
- Certificate of practical exam completion (if required);
- Other certificates (if required);
- Proof of payment for the exam.
If documents are sent as scanned copies via email, a completed declaration from the attachment must also be included.
