- Personal Survival Techniques (PST)
- Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting – Basic
- Elementary First Aid (unlimited validity)
- Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities (unlimited validity)
The course is required for persons professionally employed on ships and sailing vessels (with the exception of seafarers employed on warships or other state-owned vessels or those employed in public service, vessels operating exclusively for non-commercial purposes, fishing vessels, recreational yachts not engaged in trade, or wooden vessels of primitive build).
The course is recommended for sailors who wish to acquire knowledge and skills in the field of safety at sea and to perform officer duties on sailing vessels.
Integrated Safety Course – consisting of 4 basic courses:
- The training is conducted according to the requirements specified by IMO and included in the STCW Convention as well as the requirements specified in the Regulation of the Minister of Infrastructure (the Journal of Laws No 173/05). Certificates are issued by the maritime administration (the Maritime Authority).
The certificate remains valid for 5 years.
The training ends with a credit:
- Lectures – a test
- Exercises – a demonstration of skills
