Operation of Heat-Consuming Equipment, Solid and Liquid Fuel-Fired Devices, and Heat Processing and Transmission Equipment – SEP Group 2.
The aim of the course is to prepare participants for the safe operation and supervision of heat-consuming equipment, solid and liquid fuel-fired devices, as well as equipment used for processing and transmitting heat. The training covers comprehensive subject matter in accordance with SEP G2 qualification requirements.
SEP Group 2 training is intended for:
- Employees operating thermal equipment in industrial plants and municipal facilities
- Boiler house and heating substation operators
- Employees of companies servicing heating installations
- Persons performing supervisory (dozór) functions in the operation of thermal equipment
- Candidates applying for the acquisition or renewal of SEP G2 qualifications
Training Scope:
- Steam and hot-water boilers fired with solid, liquid and gaseous fuels, with a capacity above 50 kW, including auxiliary equipment
- Heat networks and installations with auxiliary equipment, with heat transmission above 50 kW
- Steam and water turbines with a capacity above 50 kW, including auxiliary equipment
- Industrial steam and hot-water consuming equipment with a capacity above 50 kW
- Ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment with a capacity above 50 kW
- Pumps, suction units, fans and blowers with a capacity above 50 kW
- Compressors with a capacity above 20 kW and compressed air and technical gas installations
- Equipment for storage, warehousing and unloading of fuels, with storage capacity exceeding 100 Mg
- Industrial furnaces with a capacity above 50 kW
- Control and measurement instrumentation and automatic control equipment
Assessment:
The training concludes with a state examination conducted by an authorized Examination Commission of the Polish Association of Power Engineers in Gdańsk. Upon passing the examination, participants receive relevant certificates in the applied scope, valid for 5 years.
Classes are conducted in the form of lectures by qualified instructors – employees of the Polish Society of Power Engineers.
The fee for one E (Operation) exam or one D (Supervision) exam is obligatorily 10% of the minimum wage – in 2026 this amounts to PLN 480.60.
The Operation (E) and Supervision (D) exam in Group 2 consists of two exams – two separate examination fees.
