Course description

The training includes obtaining qualifications and knowledge necessary for the position of a commander of common rescue measures and e.g., controlling a rescue boat or raft during launching and afterwards, using the engine of a rescue or emergency boat, leading shipwrecked persons on rescue facilities, using equipment for the localisation, communication, and signalisation, applying first aid to shipwrecked persons.

Duration

According to the Regulation of the Minister of Infrastructure and Development: Number of days: 2, Total: 23 hours, Lectures: 15 hours, Exercises: 8 hours

Prerequisites

holding a valid certificate of individual rescue techniques training (or integrated safety training) or a different certificate that expired no longer than one year before the beginning of the course,
6 months of work at sea within the last 5 years before the course.
