The aim of the training is to provide participants with theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of safe mooring of vessels.
The course prepares participants for work in the positions of mooringman and senior mooringman in sea ports, inland ports, and other organisational units related to vessel traffic and ship handling operations.

After successfully passing the internal examination, the participant receives an unlimited-validity certificate of training completion, issued on the basis of §18(2) of the Regulation of the Minister of National Education, authorising the holder to perform the duties of a mooringman or senior mooringman.
