Course objective:
The aim of the training is to comprehensively prepare participants for safe work and controlled operations in confined spaces classified as medium risk.
During the course, participants gain knowledge of applicable legislation, both global and national, and learn to identify hazards associated with confined spaces. The programme covers atmospheric testing and monitoring, correct selection and preparation of protective clothing, as well as rescue and safety equipment.
An important part of the training is the discussion of real-life incidents and scenarios, organisation of rescue procedures, and proper preparation, completion and approval of documentation required prior to entry into confined spaces. The course also addresses human factors, the impact of elevated temperatures, falling objects, and essential elements of pre-medical first aid.
