Duration:
The training takes place at the Training Center and lasts for 4 hours (half a day).

Registration in the WINDA database at winda.globalwindsafety.org and obtaining a WINDA ID (registration can be completed during the training).

Course Objective:
This course aims to refresh knowledge from the Manual Handling module through theoretical and practical training, reduce the risk of musculoskeletal injuries among wind technicians, and enable the safe execution of tasks and activities during work.
Training Details:
Definition of manual handling: This term refers to lifting or holding a load using human body strength. These activities include lifting, stacking, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving loads.
Outcomes upon completion of the training:
- Participants will be prepared to independently apply the basic principles of safe manual handling to minimize the risk of musculoskeletal injuries during physical work.
Conditions for refresher training:
The certificate is valid for 24 months. Certificates and training documentation must be renewed before the expiration date. The certificate is refreshed through the Manual Handling Refresher course.
If the certificate has expired, the participant must take the full Manual Handling training to obtain new documentation.
Key message:
GWO allows for the refreshment of the module up to three months before its expiration date, with the new one becoming active on the day the previous one expires.
