Duration:
Training takes place at the Training Centre in Gdynia and lasts 1060 min / 2,5 days (with breaks)
Prerequisites:
- Registration in the WINDA database lifta.globalwindsafety.org and obtaining a WINDA ID (it is possible to register during the training).

Course objective:
The objective of this GWO BTT I module is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to perform basic installation tasks (under the supervision of an experienced technician), using safe working procedures and appropriate personal protective equipment.
Outcomes on completion of the training:
Upon successful completion of the BTT I module, participants will be able to:
- recognise the main installation activities (L1 -Knowledge).
- Discuss the general risks and hazards associated with the installation environment (L2 -Knowledge).
- Discuss the checklist system throughout the installation process (L2 -Knowledge).
- Describe the characteristics of the installation environment (L1 -Knowledge).
- Recognise the principles and standards for handling and storing goods and components on site or in storage, before and after installation (L1 -Knowledge).
- Discuss the basic principles of lifting equipment (L2 -Knowledge).
- Describe the basic preparation of major components prior to installation (L1 -Knowledge).
- Describe the basic mechanical operations (L1 -Knowledge).
- Perform basic electrical installations, including rules and standards for cable handling and installation (L2 -Skills).
- Describe basic hydraulic installation (L1 -Knowledge).
- Recognise the principles of operating external generators during installation (L1 -Knowledge).
- Recognise the basics of commissioning (L1 -Knowledge).
