 Course objective:
The aim of the training course is to enable participants to perform rescue operations of casualties in the nacelle, tower and basement of a wind turbine, using standard equipment, rescue methods and techniques, beyond those applicable according to the GWO WAH course.

Training details:

  • Head support when transporting a casualty
  • Packing the casualty
  • Lowering and lifting with rescue systems
  • Evacuation of a casualty from a nacelle to the base of a WTG
  • Rescue from confined spaces
  • Rescue inside and outside the WTG-lifting

Results on completion of training:
Rescuers’ knowledge and skills exceed the standard learning outcomes according to the WAH course syllabus.
