Purpose of the course:
Completion of the EFA training course enables you to provide more advanced care to others working in the field of extended first aid. On completion of the GWO EFA training course participants will be able to apply safe, effective and immediate life-saving measures . It is particularly relevant in faraway areas using available emergency equipment and incorporating medical teleconsultation.
Training details:
This training is to prepare participants to provide pre-medical assistance to save lives.
It covers the following topics:
- Anatomy and physiology
- Correct post-accident treatment
- Basic and further examination of the injured person
- Pain management and the use of appropriate measures
- Exercises based on real-life scenarios using available equipment and radio communication devices.
