Course objective:
The main objective of the BTT M electrical module is to to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to perform basic electrical tasks (under the supervision of an experienced technician), using safe working procedures and appropriate personal protective equipment.
Outcomes on completion of the training:
- The BTT electrical module provides participants with the opportunity to :
- Explain the basics of electricity (L2 – Knowledge).
- Explain the risks and hazards associated with electrical work (L2 – Knowledge).
- Recognise the functions and symbols of electrical components (L2 – Knowledge).
- Explain the function of different types of sensors (L2 – Knowledge).
- Explain and interpret a simple electrical diagram and perform its assembly on a circuit (L2 – Knowledge / L2 – Skills).
- Make correct and safe measurements (L2 – Skill).
