The training takes place at the Training Center and lasts for 2 days.

Registration in the WINDA database winda.globalwindsafety.org and obtaining a WINDA ID (registration is possible during the training).

Course Objective:
This course aims to enable participants, through theoretical and practical training:
- to use basic personal protective equipment,
- to ensure safety while working at heights,
- to conduct comprehensive basic rescue actions from wind turbines on wind farms. This module also aims, through theoretical and practical training, to reduce the risk of musculoskeletal injuries among wind technicians and to enable safe execution of tasks and activities during work.
Results after completing the training:
Upon completion of the BST Working at Heights & Manual Handling training, participants will have competencies in safely and responsibly using basic personal protective equipment, working at heights, and conducting effective rescue actions. They will also be prepared to independently apply basic principles of safe manual handling to minimize the risk of musculoskeletal injuries during physical work.
Training Refreshment Conditions:
The certificate is valid for 24 months. Certificates and training documentation must be renewed before the expiration of the validity period. The certificate refreshment is done through the Working at Heights with Manual Handling (MHR & WAHR) course. If the certificate has expired, the participant must attend the full Working at Heights & Manual Handling training to obtain new documentation.
Key Message:
GWO allows module refreshment three months before the expiration date, and the new one becomes active on the day the previous one expires.
